[2020-12-06] Pyjama birthday

Pyjama Day 3 is always the toughest day. That's especially unfortunate because it's my daughter's birthday today. Melanie turned 28.

I haven't spent as much time with her as I would have liked, as my body insisted that I take a nap. But we played a few rounds of Bananagrams this morning and baked together this afternoon.

Mel is an amazing young woman. Smart. Creative. Caring. Supportive of local businesses and concerned for the environment. Articulate. Funny. Direct. Practical. Reliable.

I feel fortunate to have her in my life. She makes me a better person.
