[2021-08-27] Happy birthday, Mom
Today felt like old times. I left my house at 9:00 a.m. and returned at 9:00 p.m. with only a quick stop at home for supper. Consequently, it was already late in the day when I sat down to write this post.
It was my mom's birthday, so my sister and I drove out to the country for afternoon tea with our mom. I brought Banana Crumb Muffins, which I baked this morning. They're a little more decadent than most muffins I make, but less rich than a cake with frosting, so they're a good choice for a special treat that isn't completely sinful. The recipe is my gift to you.
