[2021-10-23] Accomplishment

There was a time—after a day like today—when I might have asked myself what I had accomplished.

But not today.

My Saturday was all about being present for my kids. I went shopping with my son this morning and meandering with my daughter this afternoon. When Mel and I meander, we combine one or two planned destinations with a few impromptu stops along the way. It's a very pleasant way to spend a few hours.

My accomplishment today was recognizing that I was exactly where I wanted to be—spending time with people I love.
