[2022-08-26] Nostalgia
Chris and I are volunteering at Nostalgia this week. The five-day music festival in Ottawa features tribute bands and artists, reprising classics from the '70s, '80s and '90s.
The highlight for us so far was Chicago-based Shining Star, a tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire. They were incredible musicians, performers and singers all around. Their music was tight, their energy, impressive, and their fidelity to the original music, superb.
August evenings can feel quite cool, so dress warmly if you plan to take in the show on Saturday or Sunday.
