[2022-09-18] Terry Fox Run 2022
This morning, Shane and I participated in the Terry Fox Run in Ottawa West (Kanata-Stittsville). We had lovely weather for our 5 km walk: warm temperature, sun and—most importantly—no rain. After we completed the course, I drove home and Shane did an extra 3.2 km run, arriving at the house just moments before the rain began. It was meant to be.
As of this publishing, you had made $524 in donations to my Terry Fox Run and $944 in donations to my Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. My sincere thanks to all who contributed. You are making a difference in the lives of people with cancer and those who love them.
I also appreciate everyone who liked, shared and commented on my social media posts relating to the two walks. Communication builds awareness, community and hope.
