[2023-07-06] 57th birthday
On this birthday, I feel grateful. I am loved, educated, accomplished, married, retired and a mom. I am 57—wiser than I was at any other point in my life. I am a writer—sharing my story for the benefit of myself and others. And, perhaps most significantly, I am alive—fortunate to live in a country with good health care and in a world where medical advances are enabling me to thrive.
