Barack Obama said, "Any fool can have a child. That doesn't make you a father. It's the courage to raise a child that makes you a father." You, my dear husband, had the courage to raise a child—two, in fact. Our children are smart, caring, responsible human beings, thanks, in no small part, to your efforts. Happy Father's Day, Chris.
And for anyone wondering what was on the menu for Foodie Day (aka Father's Day), it was pork souvlaki, homemade tzatziki, Greek salad, roasted potatoes and sautéed asparagus—just what a self-described meat-and-potatoes kind of guy would want. Oh, and more strawberry shortcake for dessert.
